How long will it take to ship my vehicle?

Once you have placed your order and it’s in transit, we make sure that your car is picked up by us within days. It will take approximately 7-10 days for your vehicle to reach its destination.

What methods of car shipping services do you offer?

We offer enclosed carrier and open carrier, as well as door to door services. We also offer special protection in case you are shipping a high-end vehicle from one place to the other.

How much does it cost to ship my car?

The cost of the transportation entirely depends on the service that you choose, either enclosed carrier or open, and what time of the year you’re choosing your car to be shipped because summers are usually a season when people around the globe move. Some other factors that will determine your cost are the distance, the weight of the vehicle, the size of the vehicle and its condition.

What steps are involved in shipping my vehicle?

After you have placed your order and all the paperwork has been cleared, the company will assign a truck to get your car picked up on the decided date. The driver of the carrier is always instructed to call the client 12-24 hours before the pickup has been scheduled as a reminder. Once the driver arrives, he will do a thorough inspection of your car and will make sure that everything is right according to the deal made. You and the driver will sign the bill and the carrier will leave alongside your car.

How do I prepare my vehicle?

Before shipping your vehicle, there are a couple of things that you need to do like activating anti-freeze, deactivating all anti-theft lock, remove the antenna if possible, remove as much gas as you can because you don’t want it to add to the weight of the car and get all your personal belongings out of it.

Can I ship personal items in my car?

We would recommend you not to do it. The Department of Transit has prohibited personal goods or items being transported through vehicle shipping. If by any chance your vehicle gets damaged because of the shifting of household items and other stuff, the insurance will not cover it so it’s better to remain safe.

What is the difference between an Auto Transport Open and an Enclosed Carrier?

An auto transport open is a huge open carrier that can carry up-to 10 vehicles at a time and is one of the cheapest way to ship your car from one place to the other. The carrier is carries a lot of load as compared to enclosed carrier and that is costly as well because in enclosed carrier, the car travels in a capsule or a closed truck.

Should you ship your vehicle open or enclosed?

Honestly, that choice is complete yours to make. Most of the cars are shipped openly because it’s cheap and an easy way to go. Only cars that are of high-end and luxurious need the ultimate protection and those cars are shipped hidden. If you don’t have a high-end car, you may as well go for the open shipping because it is the most convenient.

How far in advance do I need to book my auto-transport with a car shipping company?

We would always suggest booking your car 2 weeks prior to the delivery required. It may take some time to get your car delivered. It is always best to make amends beforehand so book your transport as soon as you can once you have decided it needs to be shifted.
